Government car purchases
Sir, — I refer to the remarks made by the Minister of Transport regarding the recent purchase of vehicles for Government departments. I would like to point out to the Minister that I am a taxpayer and I would certainly like to know the exact amount of the vehicles purchased, and I would like to know why the Minister feels that “it is not appropriate to publicly state the exact price of particular vehicles.” Surely the National
