Study group projects
A new environmental group in Christchurch — the Resources Study Group — has adopted several projects for the year. A spokesman for the group (Ms K. Cady) said it would I concentrate on refuse and recycling. “We plan to prepare a paper for the environment; centre on beverage containers: to investigate the merits of j reuse versus recycling,” she: said.
Some of the group will; form a charitable trust to, administer practical recycling; activities in Canterbury. “Funds raised will support; environmental education: work,” she said.
