Plight of middle class
Sir, — I have shed volumes of crocodile tears over an article in “The Press” remarking upon the plight of a class of people in England known as the middle class. It certainly reveals that however glibly Mrs Thatcher spoke of a British delight in freedom she did not mean those shocking words, freedom, fraternity, equality and justice for al) regardless of colour or creed. — Yours, etc..
ROSIE I. WITTY, September. 16, 1976.
