Flights to McMurdo
The Royal New Zealand Air Force will make seven i flights from Christchurch to the Antarctic between November 26 and December 2. Two crews will be used, one based in Christchurch and the other on the ice. Sixteen passengers will be carried on the flights, some of whom will be representatives of the Ross Dependency Research Committee, universities, and Government departments. Most of the flights will contain cargo for Scott Base and for the Americans at McMurdo station.
