Sect leader deported
PA Aucklant The former leader of the Ananda Marga sect in New Zealand, Fabrizio Concilio, has been deported. Concilio had been serving a term of imprisonment, along with three other former members of the sect, for conspiring to blow up the Indian High Commission. He left New Zealand by air on Tuesday morning — accompanied by an Auckland detective—bound for his native Italy, where it is understood he will face similar conspiracy charges. The other men imprisoned for their part in the plot were two New Zealanders and an Australian. All four were later expelled from the Ananda Marga movement.
