PA Wellington The Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Templeton) said on Tuesday that he had been informed by the Broadcasting Council that both television channels acting independently had rejected an anti-nuclear advertisement featuring Spike Milligan in script form because the whole tenor of the advertisement had given a partisan viewpoint on a controversial subject. Isbey (Lab., Grey Lynn), Mr Templeton said that by “partisan” he meant that the advertisement contained the view of one particular party in a dispute.
