STEADY TONE EVIDENT
A steadier tone was evident on. New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, in contrast to the easiness of the previous two days. However, frequently traded issues supported neither the riser nor falls. Fletcher rose 5c and Dominion Breweries Ic. but N.Z. Forest Products fell 3c and N.Z. Insurance sc. Trading was quieter and the N.Z.U.C. index rose 0.38 to 331.62 points.
