Drug given by father
PA Auckland A man who gave his 14-year-oiti daughter two marijuana cigarettes “to educate her” was sentenced to six monttis in prison by Mr W. J. Mitchell, S.M., yesterday. Allan Bruce Thorpe, aged 39, unemployed labourer, had earlier admitted a charge of supplying cannabis on July 7. He told the police he supplied the drug at his daughter’s request because he wanted to educate her about narcotics himself.
