H.A.R.T. and C.A.R.E. finances
Sir, — L. J. Stevens must surely be rather naive, or, at best, have his tongue firmly in cheek, to ask for information about the finances of H.A.R.T. and C.A.R.E. Similar questions have been asked in the past, to no avail. But, after all, who cares? As for suggesting that Mr Richards go to Uganda to assist General Amin, Mr Stevens can rest assured that Mr Richards would not fall for that one, even if W.A.R.D. offered to pay all expenses, first class. Mr Richards knows too well that, fiercely-dedicated as he is to the exposing and condemnation of all forms of racial discrimination, he ■would soon find himself in big trouble on General Amin’s patch. There is room there for only one saviour of mankind. — Yours, etc.,
HARVEY FOSS. August 1, 1976.
