Toilet trip almost costly

NZPA Montreal The British 10,000 metres bronze medallist, Brendan Foster brushed angrily with track stewards on Tuesday before the start of the race. Foster had been troubled by a stomach upset all day, and needed to dash to a toilet just two minutes before the race started. Then stewards would not let him back because he was not wearing a competitor’s identity card. “I’m competing in this race, you idiots,” yelled Foster, and angrily pushed them aside to run back to the track and take his place in the starting line.
