Whiting better

The All BJaek loek. Peter Whiting, was back training with the New Zealand team yesterday—and Iris fixed back appeared not to give him a great deal of bother. v. The All Black manager (Mr Noel Stanley 1 said it was hoped Whiting would be completely tit for Saturday’s test against South Africa. At Cape Town last week, Whiting spent each training session jogging alone and he withdrew after being selected for Saturday’s match against Western Province. He had a cortisone injection last Thursday, which seems to have brought relief to the big forward. Sid Going trained only lightly on his injured hamstring and Mr Stanley said he hoped that Going’s thigh would respond to treatment and that he would be available for consideration for Saturday's test.
