(Special correspondent) Dunedin | A presentation was made to jMr Gordon Matheson on Satur- i day, marking his retirement as I commentator for the Waimate i Hunt Club. Mr Matheson who will call his I last race at Cromwell in March after 25 years in broadcasting, made his first call for the Waimate Hunt from a back of a dray at a point-to-point meeting )n 1949. He was only slightly better situated on Saturday when calling from a tin shelter, one of the makeshift facilities in use since storm damage last August.
