Junior National Cup soccer
The two South Island teams through to the semifinals of the Stars Travel Junior National Cup soccer competition will meet at Nelson on July 25. Nelson United and Christchurch’s Rangers have been drawn to meet in semi-finals which will ensure a North v. South final. The other match is between Lower Hutt and Manurewa. at the former’s home ground.
Onny Parun wins easily.—Onny Parun. of New Zealand, easily beat Spencer Segura (United States). 6-4. 6-1, in a secondround match of the men’s singles in the Swiss international tennis championships.
