Arrest for bashing
The police yesterday arrested a 17-year-old youth in connection w’ith an incident in Bradford Park, Sydenham, in which a woman was hit on the head with a piece of pipe last month. He W’ill appear in the Christchurch Magistrate’s Court today charged with assault with intent to cause bodily injury’. Mrs Constance Fairbrother was hit on the back of the head as she walked through the park on Friday,
