The first , publication was made on the 11th day of June, 1976. 4740 WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT, 1953 PROPOSED CHANGE UNDER SECTION 29 TO THE REVIEWED DISTRICT SCHEME WHICH BECAME OPERATIVE ON SEPTEMBER 1, 1974 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Waimairi County Council made on May 19, 1976. the Council resolved to initiate a change to the Operative District Scheme under Section 29 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1953. The following is a summary of the proposed change. CHANGE NO. 13. The change involves the redefinition of the range of uses to be permitted in the Rural Industrial Zones in relation to the timber industry and defines the permitted uses as timber mills, sawmills, timber treatment plants and the cutting and sale of firewood being waste timber produced on the site by any of the foregoing purposes. The Scheme Statement is also to be amended by the addition of a clause clarifying the object and intention of the zone. Details of the change have been deposited at the Council Offices at the corner of Clyde Road and Jeffreys Road. Fendalton. in accordance with Section 30(4) (a) (ii) of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1953 and shall be open for inspection without fee to all persons interested I therein when the above place lis open to the nubile.
