I.W.Y. meeting
What achievements will the next 10 years (the Decade for Women) bring and how can women ensure continuing progress? Those questions will be answered by Ms Vivienne Boyd, a member of the Committee for Women, Wellington, at a public meeting in Christchurch on Friday evening at 8 p.m. The meeting, at which Ms Boyd will be guest speaker, has been called by the Canterbury I.W.Y. Committee and will be held at the Council Chambers, Christchurch City Council. The theme of the meeting is: What has International Women’s Year started?
