Sale of home industries
An exhibition and sale of cottage-industry handicrafts will be held at “cranmore Farm”, Kirwee, on Friday and Saturday. About 60 people have contributed to the sale, which will include pottery, basket work, children’s smocking, needle work, jewellery, toys and paintings. There will be a large range of children’s 'clothing. Those who have contributed goods for sale come from throughout the South Island, although most are from country areas.
