Fleece prices firm at Napier

(N.Z. Press Association) . NAPIER. April 26. Prices at the Napier wool sale today were ; I very firm for full fleece and early-shorn wool r icompared with the re-: cent Wanganui sale. Good-length second shear, was in buyers’ favour, short-! length second shear was! fully 21 per cent cheaper, short oddments 5 per cent and 74 per cent and lambs 2j per cent cheaper. Compared with the last Napier sale the market was very firm for full fleece, 2-J per cent to 5 per cent I cheaper for good-length sec-! • ond shear and fully 5 per, !cent cheaper for short sec-: iond shear and fleece odd-! ments, with short oddments jup to 10 per cent to 12 per cent cheaper.
