World veteran record falls
fN.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) BRISBANE. The former Queensland Olympic athlete, Dr Tony Blue, yesterday ran a world veterans record at the Australian veterans’ athletics titles in Brisbane. He won the 800 metres in the 40 to 44 years class in the world record time of 1 min 56.55ec. The old record of Imin 56.95ee had been held by Graham Wise of Victoria.
