Mr Walding still travels
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, The former globe-trotting Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Walding) is again travelling the world, in his new position as an export consultant. Two days ago he left New Zealand for a business trip which will include stop-overs in Siberia and Moscow. He will be selling Fletcher’s goods, and is due to return home in about five weeks. Mr Walding was Palmerston North’s member of Parliament until his narrow defeat at the hands of National’s Mr John Lithgow in the General Election. Soon after his loss he took up his consultant’s position. .
