Railwaymen president
(N.Z. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 7. Mr C. H. Miller, of Auckland, has been elected president of the National Union of Railwaymen to succeed Mr R. J. Doherty, who has retired. Mr Miller is a guard and is the present North Island traffic national councillor of the union. His election was by a national ballot of the union’s membership. There were nine candidates.
