WELLINGTON. Investments with the T.A.B. on the Ashburton County Racing Club's meeting yesterday amounted to 8383,704.50, an increase of $84,043.50 on the corresponding meeting last year.
The total was made up of 5241,551 in win and place bets and $142,155.50 on doubles. Special trebles betting amounted to $108,487.
The on-course turnover of $94,107 was up $24,454.
