Store lamb values remained very sound at the Addington Market 1 yesterday, the top pens i of xvethers again bettering $lO a head. I; Two-tooth ewes were much : in line with last week's easier rates, but many of the adult ewes again had a harder sale. The store sheep yarding was >•18,590, compared with 33,010 last, iweek, and consisted of 7200 adult breeding ewes. 4360 two-tooth '; ewes. 4500 wether lambs, and 2530 ewe lambs. Store lambs Store lambs continued to meet 4 a brisk inquiry. This week's iyarding of more than 7000 head .‘was more mixed than usual, but Jit included a good selection of Forward Down-cross lambs, most Hof them from Banks Peninsula . districts. These drew solid competition from export, buyers. ; in line with last week’s sale. I;the tops of the wether lambs -'again reached or bettered SlO. The top price was SI 0.85 for 'some South-Dorset Down cross Ji lambs from the Peninsula.

Store cat lie This weeks store cattle sale was a Wednesday fixture and it - drew a yarding of 1615 head . .which was much larger than expected. The entry included a .•fairly big selection of adult ■steers which met a good demand., at x alues in line with recent' rates. The best of the 'steers sold to $143. xvith many of the remainder at $l2O to $l3O Eighteen to 20-month-old i steers, however, had a much steadier sale. Compared xvith the monthly special sale three weeks ago. values were about $8 j to $lO easier.
