Dingbat's line

A number of viewers have; written asking for the words of the “All in the Family” song which Edith and Archie Bunker sing with relish at the opening of every programme. But TXT’s programme information department in Wellington said yesterday that frankly it did not know, but wished it did. P. McAra, of Christchurch,; writes: “In the theme song

for ‘All in the Family’ what are the words of the line following •Everybody his weight?’ Edith sings the

line and it sounds like, ‘Gee, ah rizzen sowren great,” but of course I know I’ve got it wrong.”

TVI has supplied the name of the Australian agent for the programme and we have asked him.
