Motor-cyclist comfortable

A 16-year-old youth was in a fairly comfortable condition in Christchurch Hospital last evening after the motorcycle he was riding and a car collided in Ferry Road on Saturday. Phillip James Blair, aged 16, of 16 Clementine Lane, St Andrews Hill, suffered moderately serious leg injuries in the accident. A Christchurch man was admitted to Burwood Hospital with head injuries after the car he was travelling in rolled in Blenheim Road soon after 10 p.m. on Saturday. He is Owen Johnson, aged 32. of 514 Manchester Street. His condition last evening was described as comfortable.
