Wool comes back at Wellington

(New Zealand Press Association f WELLINGTON, December 8. Prices at today’s Wellington wool sale were 5 to 7 per cent cheaper than those at Christchurch for full i fleece, 5 per cent cheaper for second shear, and 5 per ! cent cheaper for bulky oddments.

The offering, drawr mainly from Wairarapa iManawatu, and Taihape I consisted of about 54 pet I cent full fleece, 14 per cen: hogget, 13 per cent earl\ shorn, 3 per cent lambs, and 17 per cent oddments The offering as a whole was well grown, but noi 1 quite as attractive as that at i the previous Wellington ,I sale. Bidding was animated and well spread, the Continent and Eastern Europe being the principal bidders, jwith some support coming ifrom the New Zealand mills. Prices:—
