Translators for TV2
■ (Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON. ! Supplementary translators ] would be used to ensure TV2 coverage in the Sumner, Redcliffs and Lyttelton areas, said the member of Parliament for Lyttelton (Mr McGuigan). Confirmation of this had been received in a letter from the chairman of the Broadcasting Council (Sir Alister Mclntosh). Mr McGuigan said that he had been informed that coverage in the areas concerned, and in several other pockets of difficult reception in the Port Hills area, was being surveyed, and necessary equipment had been ordered. The equipment was expected to be installed early in the New Year, said Mr McGuigan.
