SIDECAR CHANGES

Barry Lyneh (rider) and David Scobie (passenger) will be campaigning a new water-cooled 750 Suzuki triple in the motorcycle sidecar events at the Templeton Speedway this season, which officially opens tonight. Their form in the official practices suggests that they will provide a serious challenge to the established top men. Surprisingly. the Turner brothers, who made such an impression last season, have split up. Bruce will have Brent Beadle as his passenger on a 750 Triumph outfit and Wayne will ride as passenger for Warren Benson. Their mount will also be a Triumph, but with a Rickman conversion.
