Air traffic halted
Israeli airports were temporarily paralysed by a onehour strike of flight-con: trailers protesting against a Government decision to use mi’itan controllers in the northern, port town of Haifa. The strikers allege that the military controllers have not passed essential civil examinations. and that their use at Haifa constitutes a danger to civil aviation — Tel Aviv.
