Night runs popular

Clubs organise both day and night trials, but many crews prefer night trials because they are more of a challenge and there is less traffic to worry about.

Driving is more difficult at night, but after a good selection of day and night trials there are very few driving conditions a driver could not cope with.

For this reason trials are a good training ground for young drivers. While they are under the supervision of clubs they know that bad behaviour might result in loss of their competition licence. If a driver is “hairy” he will not keep a crew for long.
