fN.Z.P. A. -Ke uter—Copyright) LONDON, Oct. 5. Police arrested 66 people and recovered a sizeable quantity of unauthorised arms in a series of raids in Bangladesh, Radio Bangladesh announced today. The radio quoted a police statement as saying that the arms recovered in raids in 17 districts for the 24-hour period ended on Saturday morning included machineguns, rifles, revolvers, pistols and huge quantities of ammunition. Most of the arms were recovered in the eastern district of Comilla. On September 27, the police said more than 1000 people had been arrested in the previous fortnight for illegal possession of firearms.
