Bridging finance
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Emergency bridging loans worth sl.Bm have been made by the Public Trust Office in Auckland since the scheme began last October. Loans are made where home owners have serious difficulty in refinancing house mortgages. In Auckland, 178 loans have now been made. Three weeks ago it was announced in Wellington that little more than s2m had been allocated throughout New Zealand.
