(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. A $llO,OOO appeal to build holiday homes for crippled children and their families has been opened by the New Zealand Crippled Children Society. Four homes the society planned to build in Rotorua would give many crippled children a family holiday for the first time in their lives, the president of the society (Mr J. E. Greenslade) said. Two-bedroom units, the homes will be designed for children in wheel-chairs, on crutches, or suffering from other physical or medical handicaps.
