Women’s lib has scored another victory—cyclones will now be given male names in Australia . . . only every second cyclone will bear a male name . . . Militant women thought it sexist that cyclones had only women’s names.—News. We offered Prayers for those in Peril From Hurricanes Carolyn and Cheryl, But EQUALLY for those imperilled By Hurricanes Jeremy and Gerald — Force Twelve, by Admiral Beaufort’s Scale. The Admiral (though Himself a Male) Didn’t express the Wind Velocity In terms of feminine Ferocity. But Aeolus was a God. not Goddess, he Managed the Winds, in Homer's Odyssey. The Almighty HE — Jehovah, too. Spoke when the awful Whirlwind blew! Girls, I agree, let’s get together — It's Time we unisexed the Weather. * # * * No sexist Pig am I, but that's not quite The Reason why I won’t say ‘SHE’LL be right!’ ’ Great Nations and big Ships are She and Her. Has This got sexist Implications, Sir? Heard about that young Lady of the Niger?’ Or was it Riga'?
