Waikari house brings $23,000

A Waikari house was sold yesterday for $4200 above Government valuation. The three-bedroom brick house on an area of 33.5 perches, was sold for $23,000. The auctioneer was Mr R. I Spark, for Wrightson NMA, Ltd.

A five-acre block of land, with a 6000 sq. ft outbuilding, on Buchanans Road, Yaldhurst, was also passed in at auction. The Government valuation is $25,000. Mr G. A. Woodley, for Pyne. Gould, Guinness, Ltd, was the auctioneer.
