Police seek payroll money

AUCKLAND. Auckland detectives are still inquiring into the whereabouts of about $9OOO outstanding from a payroll snatch in Albert Street on September 1. Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the loss of the money. The first man was arrested after a police swoop on the Astor Theatre in Dominion Road on Sunday. The other was arrested in an Orewa motel on Tuesday. The first man was charged with being an accomplice in the robbery and the other with aggravated robbery.
