Valley and Tavern Cup

A new trophy for women’s soccer, which the donor hopes may one day match the Chatham Cup in significance, will be at stake in the Canterbury-Auckland match at English Park tomorrow.

It has been given by mine host of the Valley Inn, Heathcote, Mr Maurice Bailey, and will be known as the Valley and Tavern Cup.
