Flat fire arson?
A fire which caused slight damage to a flat at 352 Worcester Street yesterday afternoon is being treated as arson by the Christchurch C. 1.8.
The occupants of the flat were out when the fire started. Its cause is not yet known.
Two appliances from fire brigade headquarters quickly brought the fire under control, and damage was restricted to one room. The alarm was raised by a neighbour about 1.40 p.m.
