Silver Shadow, a three-year-old filly trained by Tommy Smith, held on to beat the late runs of Leica Lover and Leilani. both from the stable of Bari Gummings The filly has now scored tour wins and a second from her five starts. Kevin Langby was able to slow ♦he pace down m the early ’’ages and led throughout on Silver Shadow to win by half a length, with a long head between second and third.
