Boote off to Europe

John Boote, the 20-year-old Christchurch motor-cycle racer, is to make his European debut in the Dutch round of the world Formula 750 championship at Assen on September 6 and 7. In the Formula 750 race at Assen, Boote will face the toughest opposition of his career. Among his rivals ■will be the leader of the world series, Barry Sheene (Britain), a Suzuki works rider, and the very talented young Venezuelan, Johnny Cecotto, who rides for Yamaha.
