(N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, j The profitability of Mauri Brothers and Thomson, Ltd, was severely squeezed in the' year to May 31. The Sydney-based food industries group has reported; a 9.69 per cent fall in con-i ! solidated net profit to I |sA3.4m in spite of a 28.31 :per cent rise in sales. PreTax profit dropped 25.45 per cent to $5.24m. The group provided $1.78m for tax in 1974-751 compared with 53.2 m in i 1973-74. A final dividend of 6 per cent will be paid to shareholders registered on October 10, making a steady total of 12 per cent for the year.
