Fraser to play Parun

Onny Parun (New Zealand), seeded fifteenth, has been drawn against a former Wimbledon champion, when the 1975 event begins on Monday.

Parun’s first-round opponent in the men’s singles is Neale Fraser, who is now Australia’s non-playing Davis Cup captain. Results of New Zealanders in the second round of the Wimbledon qualifying tournament yesterday were:— Men: J. James (Australia) beat Tony Parun, 9-8, 6-4; Chris Lewis beat K. Hirai (Japan), 6-4, 6-0.
