Noodlum looks winner in Ashburton first leg

Noodlum looks a "leg in" for doubles betters at Ashburton today. He is the backmarker on 30m in the Queen’s birthday Stakes, the first leg of the T.A.B. double, and will be opposed by only 11 rivals, several of which look to be right out of their class.

Noodlum’s appearance will be a tremendous attraction, coming as it does one week before he is booked to go to Brisbane to contest the Queensland Derby towards the end of the month.
