Irvine chosen as wing

Andy Irvine, the champion goal-kicker and fullback in the Scottish Rugby

team, has been placed on the wing for the team to play Hawke’s Bay on Wednesday.

Irvine played in that position in two of the Lions’ four tests against the Springboks last year, displacing a present team-mate, Billy Steele.
