A house at 195 Matsons Avenue was sold at $24,000. The house was on a 35 perch section and had a Government valuation of $23,000 (1974). The auctioneer was Mr W. W. Anderson for George Anderson and Son, Ltd. An 1100 sq. ft bungalow on a 36.9 perch section at 84 Picton Avenue with a 1971 Government valuation of $7900 was passed in at $19,750.
