Sportsmen killed
(N Z Press Association WELLINGTON. Two well-known New Zea land sportsmen were killer in road accidents during th< week-end. They were the yachtsman, Clive Roberts, of Auckland, and the athlete, Keith Falla, of Hamilton. Falla, aged 26. who competed for Guernsey at the Commonwealth Games in Christchurch last year in the 800 and 1500 metres and fo l New Zealand in this year’s New Zealand Games, dier after being hit by a car while out jogging in Hamilton or Fridav evening. Falla’s wife. Caroline. alsr a comp“titor at the New Zea land Games, was running with him at the time of th< accident. Roberts. 11 times the Nev Zealand O K. Dinghy champ ion and onre the world title holder in the class, was killer when his car and a logging truck collided on the Hau raki Plains last night Roberts’s wife was with hirr in the car but she was not iniured.
