Colonel Gadaffi, as “100 per) !cent sick, possessed by ai I devil which makes him imagine things.” President Sadat told the; Kuwaite newspaper, “Al-j Sayasseh,” that he was particularly irritated by the, radio and press campaign in Libya attacking his policies and, later, his family. “Gadaffi has no principles, contradicts himself, and can-| not make . decisions,” Presi-: dent Sadat, said. “Although; differences between us I should have been confined to principles, he is now attack-; ing my home and my family.
“He lived in my house and I treated him as one of. my sons. His family lived, with us, but. still he spoke trash about my family. This; is a 100 per cent sick man.” The Libyan press and: radio, in a recent attack on! the Egyptian leader, des-1 cribed him as a “Caesar,” I and his wife as a “Cleopatra! who squandered money! lavishly in Europe on i dresses and on wedding; ceremonies for her daugh-!
