After receiving Mr Palmer’s interim report on the World Cup tournament, held in Kuala Lumpur last month, the manage ment committee of the New Zealand Hockey Association de cided last evening to write to England and to seek its terms and conditions.

Tour matches.—The following itinerary for the Canadian tour this year was approved, but an alternative venue to Gisborne will be named if nothing is heard from Poverty Bay in the next 10 days. September 2, Poverty Bay. Gisborne; September 3. Hawke's Bay. Napier; September 4. Hutt Valiev. Wellington; September 6. New Zealand. Christchurch; September 7. New Zealand. Christchurch; September 9, Nelson; September 10, Wanganui; September 11. Taranaki. New Plymouth: September 13. New Zealand, Hamilton: September 14. New Zealand. Auckland.
