Stereo equipment worth $l3OO and $lOO cash were taken from a house in Peterborough Street during the week-end.
Entry was gained through a casement window.
An elderly lady had her handbag snatched from her in Hereford Street, at 10 p.m. on Saturday. There was little of value in the bag, which was taken by a youth.
