Pinwheels
(By CELIA TIMMS) Peanut butter pinwheels I make an appetising replace- I ment for biscuits or cake with tea or coffee. They require only a teaspoon of sugar. Finely chopped dates may be added to sweeten, if I you like the combined! flavour of peanut butter and: dates. i You will need:— i 2| cups self-raising flour 1* tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon sugar j 3 tablespoons peanut butter i Milk I A few finely chopped dates, if desired. j Method: Melt butter and I , add sufficient milk to mix ■the flour and sugar to a ■light dough. Roll out half an j inch thick, spread with peaInut butter and finely chopped dates. Roll up like, a jam roll and cut in slices' with a sharp knife, about! half an inch thick. Bake at! :400 on a lightly floured tray. ‘
